Fund Oversight Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to assist Evelyn Partners in overseeing its ACD-only Fund Sponsors and Delegate Service Partners. This position focuses on monitoring the effectiveness of delegates' Transfer Agency services, while also supporting the oversight of Portfolio Valuation (NAV Production) and Financial Reporting services to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and agreed service standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily oversight operations, ensuring all tasks are documented and completed promptly, while addressing issues and inquiries from delegates and escalating when necessary.
- Regularly document, review, and update departmental procedures to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.
- Proactively engage with the EPFL Relationship Management Team to ensure professional and timely interactions with EPFL Sponsors and funds, keeping senior management informed of all developments and potential risks.
- Oversee Transfer Agency services to guarantee timely and competent delivery by delegates, while also supporting the oversight of Portfolio Valuation (NAV Production) and Financial Reporting as needed.
- Assist in change management initiatives within the organization to ensure seamless transitions and implementations.
- Ensure equitable treatment of sponsors and end-investors, maintain transparent interactions with external entities, thoroughly investigate any breaches, and comprehend the regulatory framework, including critical areas such as Financial Crime, CASS, Conflicts of Interest, and Data Protection.
- Monitor adherence to EPFL Outsourcing and Delegation policies, provide insights to Relationship Management & Business Development teams, and ensure all parties receive the necessary information to fulfill their obligations.
- Manage records and data in accordance with Group policy, analyze management information to identify risks and opportunities, apply consistent decision-making processes, and support senior management in risk management efforts.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Significant experience working with a Transfer Agent.
- Strong understanding of an ACD's oversight responsibilities.
- Good knowledge of key industry trends and best practices within the Authorised Funds sector.
- Experience operating within the FCA regulatory framework, with a solid understanding of current legislation and future regulatory developments related to Authorised Funds.
Professional Qualifications and Education:
- Relevant professional qualification(s) are desirable, such as the CISI Investment Operations Certificate.
