The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with experience in managing and troubleshooting devices, configuring firewalls and switches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to escalated issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network solutions for clients, with a focus on network security and infrastructure improvement.
- Device Management: Manage and troubleshoot devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, stationed on large networks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure and senior networking teams, to ensure seamless network operations.
- Documentation: Write detailed documentation for future reference and audits.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices, with a focus on improving network efficiency and security.
Tech Stack:
- Operating Systems: Exposure to both Linux and Windows environments is advantageous.
- Network Protocols: WAN/LAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF.
- Network Monitoring: Experience with network monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds.
- Network Security: Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.
