Position Title: Clinical Systems Architect

Waters Corporation is on the lookout for a Clinical Systems Architect to enhance their Clinical Systems division. This division is committed to innovating Waters Clinical and In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) Systems, both Hardware and Software, to better meet the needs of their Clinical clientele. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the advancement of Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Systems for the Clinical Business Unit
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to establish system context and user specifications
  • Work in tandem with interdisciplinary teams to create system designs
  • Oversee system verification and validation documentation for testing purposes
  • Provide support for existing Waters Clinical systems and technologies
  • Encourage the adoption of systems engineering methodologies and tools
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and patient safety throughout product development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with Liquid Chromatography and/or mass spectrometry
  • Background in developing scientific instrumentation
  • Capability to operate in regulated environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
