Job Summary:

As a Clinical Systems Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of Waters Clinical and IVD Systems, Hardware and Software, driving growth and innovation in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Set and establish the direction of projects, working in a self-supervisory role.
  • Take full accountability for the completion of projects on the critical path to the delivery of Waters' Clinical business strategy.
  • Ensure routine risk management and mitigation are in place to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain clear visibility of all aspects of projects from concept to product launch and closure.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders, third parties, and external collaborators.
  • Act as an information conduit between project core teams, programs, and Senior Management, providing periodic updates on project status.
  • Assist and mentor others by sharing knowledge and learning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, management, or equivalent experience.
  • Higher level of education preferred, along with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Agile PM or equivalent qualification desirable.
Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects through a Product Development Process.
  • Experience in Product lifecycle management and in-depth knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working within Lean or Agile environments, with demonstrated capability in tailoring and mapping between methodologies at scale.

  • Comfortable working directly with Engineers and communicating with Senior Management positions.
  • Capable of managing project teams greater than 50 Engineers.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese desirable but not required.
