Job Title: Claims Manager - Property Binders

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead our Property Binders Claims team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team's workload, providing technical oversight, and ensuring effective claims handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive high performance through setting and reviewing team goals and objectives.
  • Allocate work and ensure all claims notifications are reviewed by suitably experienced claims adjusters.
  • Ensure effective technical oversight of delegated claims authority holders and service providers.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Property Binders Underwriting and Claims portfolio.
  • Review actual versus expected results and ensure meaningful claims input into monthly tracking meetings and quarterly reserving meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external customers.

Requirements:

  • Experience of Lloyd's Claims Lead Arrangements and related claims handling systems.
  • A proven track record of effective management of delegated claims and coverholder & delegated claims authority holders.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
