The position of a Travel Advisor embodies the exceptional level of customer support and attention that enhances the experience for our clients. Travel Advisors serve as the primary point of contact for the organization, engaging with a diverse clientele to address all their travel requirements. Establishing rapport with clients through effective and personal communication is essential to foster trust and confidence in our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marine & Offshore / Corporate Travel: Arrange travel in accordance with client policies and preferences, encompassing flights, lodging, vehicle rentals, and any additional arrangements necessary for business travel.
  • Efficiency: Uphold superior customer service while managing a substantial volume of transactions with precision and speed.
  • Client Feedback: Actively solicit and document client feedback and savings to illustrate the value of our services.
  • Crisis Management: Notify clients of any disruptions through consistent monitoring of internal alerts, GDS queues, and messaging systems.
  • Client Engagement: Engage in client meetings and opportunities to strengthen relationships and provide operational insights.
  • Adherence to Best Practices: Comply with all established best practices and procedures, ensuring alignment with supplier terms to prevent additional charges.
  • Knowledge Enhancement: Actively pursue and participate in supplier training to enhance product knowledge and expertise.
  • Billing Inquiries: Execute all internal processes for bookings to ensure accurate invoicing data, and respond promptly to any billing inquiries.

Candidate Qualifications

  • A qualification at HNC/HND level in Travel and Tourism is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Experience in an office setting is necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Work Arrangement

This role provides the potential for hybrid working arrangements, subject to business requirements.
