About the Role
KennedyPearce Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join our team on a hybrid working basis. As a key member of our Head Office team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales and marketing teams in making business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide finance business partner support to the commercial teams, influencing behaviours and performance through insight and understanding of key drivers and market trends.
- Manage ongoing forecasting and financial review to ensure commercial risks and opportunities are highlighted.
- Prepare insightful commercial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
- Deliver analysis of sales performance/margins on a timely basis – identifying reasons for variance, recommending actions and measuring outcomes.
- Review and approve all commercial proposals, including full financial support to the bid and tender process.
- Drive the monthly business performance reporting process.
- Lead and improve the budgeting and forecasting processes, including agreeing, reviewing & challenging commercial targets with business/department leads.
- Coordinate and lead the annual financial planning process for the division.
- Develop and improve accounting & control processes to ensure that results are reported appropriately, accurately and on a timely basis.
- Measure and report monthly commercial KPI's to senior management.
- Manage the Balance Sheet of the Sales and Marketing functions.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant: ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Experience using SAP
- Post-qualification experience in a commercial role
- Team management experience
- Good analytical skills
- Strong commercial acumen
