About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at GR Associates. As an Associate Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of multidiscipline projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the electrical team in the day-to-day running of projects and ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical design solutions.
  • Responsible for the commercial performance of projects, including negotiation of additional fees and facilitation of new and continued work.
  • Develop and maintain external relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets their needs and expectations.
  • Provide technical mentorship and inspiration to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to integrate design and deliver a multi-discipline offering.
  • Support the company ethos, including wellbeing and community involvement.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification(s) at HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters level.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Associate with a strong track record in the UK on a range of mainstream building services projects.
  • Experience in team management, including recruitment, wellbeing, performance management, and development.
  • Ability to win work and undertake business operations, including marketing, commercial, and financial responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, and IES/Amtech is desirable.
  • Ambitious and dynamic, with a positive outlook and self-motivation.
