About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Specification Manager to join our team at Knauf Ceiling Solutions. As a Sales Specification Manager, you will be responsible for creating and developing specifications for our product portfolio, working closely with key decision-makers and influencers to generate new leads and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create Specifications: Develop and maintain specifications for our product portfolio, ensuring that they meet the needs and requirements of our customers.
  • Develop Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry, generating new leads and specifications for our products.
  • Customer Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements, ensuring that our products meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Supply Chain Partnerships: Work closely with our supply chain partners and their design teams to generate leads and specifications for our product portfolio.
  • CRM Management: Utilize our Salesforce CRM system to record and manage all specification activity, ensuring that our sales and marketing efforts are aligned and effective.
  • Specification Documentation: Prepare and issue specification documentation to specifiers for projects where our products are specified.
  • Event Reporting: Report on the effectiveness of specification-related events attended, ensuring that our sales and marketing efforts are aligned and effective.
Requirements
  • Specification Sales Experience: Strong specification sales experience is essential, with a proven track record of success in creating and developing specifications for a product portfolio.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of the construction industry and our products is essential, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and stakeholders.
  • Travel Requirements: A full UK driving license and a willingness to travel and stay away from home as required are essential.
