HGV Class 2 Driver/Operative Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver/Operative to join our team at W P RECRUITMENT HR LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste and recyclables.

About the Role:
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to designated facilities, adhering to strict schedules and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any defects or issues to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
  • Navigate residential roads safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Collect and replace residential bins, ensuring accurate and timely service delivery.
  • Operate machinery and equipment as required, following established safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driver's License
  • Current CPD (Driver Qualification Card) and Tachograph (Driver Card)
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and be physically fit
  • Good knowledge of the local road network
  • Own transportation due to the location of the depot
  • Flexibility with working hours
