Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at W P Recruitment & HR Ltd. as a Ro-Ro Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and returning containers to and from household waste recycling centres and waste treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily vehicle and plant checks, logging faults on system and reporting defects to the workshop.
  • Collecting and returning containers to and from household waste recycling centres and waste treatment plants.
  • Operation of plant and equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph.
  • Previous Ro-Ro experience is an advantage, however newly passed HGV drivers will also be considered.
  • Experience of the island's road network is preferred.
  • Must have a good understanding of health and safety and the ability to use computerised systems.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £14.03 per hour.
