HGV Class 2 Driver/Operative

Job Summary:

W P Recruitment & HR Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver/Operative to join our team. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for collecting domestic waste and recycling, ensuring the safe navigation of residential roads, and adhering to schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and replacing residential bins
  • Loading and operating machinery, when required
  • Adhering to health and safety, highways, and driving regulations
  • Participating in training for loading duties and operating equipment

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driver's license
  • CPD (Driver Qualification Card) and Tachograph (Driver Card)
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and be physically fit
  • Good knowledge of the Island's road network
  • Own transport due to the location of the depot
  • Flexibility with working hours

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £14.03 per hour worked
