Nursery Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team at Step Teachers. As a key member of our education recruitment agency, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children in a nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Children's Learning and Development: Collaborate with the class teacher to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of children.
  • Encourage Positive Behaviour: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment by encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop strong relationships with parents and carers by providing regular feedback on children's progress and achievements.
  • Assist with Planning and Delivery: Support the class teacher in planning and delivering activities that promote learning and development.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
  • Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children's learning and well-being.
  • Nurturing Nature: A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
