Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Bis Henderson Recruitment. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving profitable new business growth and developing a detailed new business pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities in the liquid waste market
  • Develop and manage a new business pipeline to achieve targeted sales revenues
  • Produce regular reports to track current activity and forecast new business
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to drive a growth strategy aligned with the company's needs
  • Maintain accurate data within the CRM platform
  • Liaise with commercial functions to share pipelines and best practices

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of the waste sector, with experience in selling liquid waste services
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing new business services
  • Excellent presentation, selling, negotiating, and influential skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recommend and implement solutions
  • Robust and resilient, with the ability to absorb pressure and respond positively
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Pragmatic approach to delivering results under tight deadlines and targets
