Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Bis Henderson Recruitment. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving profitable new business growth and developing a detailed new business pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and explore new business opportunities in the liquid waste market
- Develop and manage a new business pipeline to achieve targeted sales revenues
- Produce regular reports to track current activity and forecast new business
- Collaborate with the General Manager to drive a growth strategy aligned with the company's needs
- Maintain accurate data within the CRM platform
- Liaise with commercial functions to share pipelines and best practices
Requirements:
- General knowledge of the waste sector, with experience in selling liquid waste services
- Proven track record of developing and implementing new business services
- Excellent presentation, selling, negotiating, and influential skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recommend and implement solutions
- Robust and resilient, with the ability to absorb pressure and respond positively
- Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
- Pragmatic approach to delivering results under tight deadlines and targets
