Position Summary

The Compliance & Contracts Manager for the UK & Ireland will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and codes of practice within the region. This position involves both local contracting support and the development and implementation of an effective compliance framework.

Core Responsibilities
  • Apply UK/IE codes of practice, laws, and regulations across various areas such as Data Protection, Conflict of Interest, Anti-Fraud/Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Competition Law, Charitable Contributions, Pharmacovigilance, and Employment Law.
  • Collaborate with Global Legal and External Counsel to manage local queries, including contracting reviews and negotiations.
  • Deliver training programs, awareness campaigns, and educational initiatives to promote compliance within the organization.
  • Maintain, update, and communicate key processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and Fair Market Value (FMV) framework.
  • Conduct regular company-wide communications and ad hoc briefings on compliance matters.
  • Manage Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, including training, improvement initiatives, and managing deviations.
  • Approve promotional and non-promotional materials and activities within the UK/Ireland region.
  • Review and approve cross-border activities that impact Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) in the UK/Ireland.
  • Monitor compliance activities in accordance with the established compliance plan.
  • Ensure timely and accurate disclosure reporting as required under UK/IE Transparency regulations.
  • Partner with the global Data Protection Officer to fulfill UK legal requirements for local data protection, including managing consents/contracts, data sharing agreements, training and awareness of departments, process updates, and subject access requests.
