About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Outpatient Department at SGH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients in the Outpatient Department, working across various specialties and areas.
- Coordinate specific OPD areas, providing a visible clinical presence and supporting the senior team with the day-to-day running of the department.
- Support, supervise, and assess learners, students, temporary, new, and junior staff within the department.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Registered Nurse - in appropriate branch
Desirable Criteria
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Qualified mentor (ENB 998 or mentorship award or equivalent) or working towards
- Evidence of Post Registration development in the relevant specialty
- Management qualification
Occupational Experience
Desirable Criteria
- Minimum six months post-registration experience in relevant specialty
- Experience of being 'in charge' of a shift
