**Job Title:** Permanent Equipment Controller

**Company:** William Henry Associates

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permanent Equipment Controller to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment hire fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of hire contracts and off-hires, ensuring all relevant information is obtained and recorded accurately.
  • Deal with customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administer equipment inspection sheets and relevant certificates, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Obtain quotations and book hire of transport, checking haulage contractor invoices and ensuring accurate recording of costs.
  • Operate the hire fleet control software, recording the availability of units, transport and consumable costs, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the efficient management of the hire fleet, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of working as a Hire Controller or Hire Manager within the plant/equipment/tool hire industry.
  • Ability to commute to our location and work 1 Saturday a month.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support and assistance as needed.
