Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement standard operating procedures for the safe setup and operation of welding equipment.
  • Perform welding tasks in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain the functionality of welding equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure safe setup and removal of equipment, as well as pre-heating procedures.
  • Utilize digital temperature recording devices to monitor and control temperature settings.
  • Manage welding consumables in production environments, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Perform grinding tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with MAG/MMA welding techniques.

Benefits:

  • Ongoing contract with NRL.
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm.
  • Competitive hourly rate, paid in CIS.
