Head of Supply Planning (Outsourced) – UK Chilled Food Manufacturing

Are you a seasoned supply chain professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams and building strategic supplier relationships? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, managing complex international supply chains, and driving continuous improvement?

The Maserati of San Diego is seeking a Head of Supply Planning (Outsourced) to manage our outsourced product range, ensuring optimal efficiency, cost management, and seamless product availability. You'll lead a talented team of supply chain professionals while working closely with global suppliers to ensure our business growth targets are met, and our customers remain satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture relationships with key (and new) outsourced suppliers, collaboratively developing and implementing supply strategies that align with our business goals.
  • Proactively manage risks like raw material availability and capacity constraints to ensure minimal service disruptions.
  • Collate, analyse, and report on key supply chain KPIs, using data to drive continuous improvements in efficiency and cost management.
  • Analyse supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  • Frequent International travel to supplier sites to understand operational processes, build strong relationships, and ensure alignment with our supply chain strategy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of supply chain management experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role within the food industry.
  • Strong proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with a demonstrated ability to analyse data and drive strategic decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally per month.
