Position Overview: As a Lead Youth Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding young individuals towards personal growth and success.

Job Title: Youth Support Workers in Charge
Location: Opportunities available across various districts.
Starting Salary: £27,434 per annum, with potential progression up to £30,750 per annum (pro rata for part-time roles).
Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week, including four evenings of 2.5 hours during term time, with flexible daytime hours and additional hours often accessible.
Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities: Do you possess the skills to empower young people to cultivate the confidence and abilities necessary for their future?

You will elevate your youth work expertise by leading a dedicated team that provides essential support to young individuals transitioning into adulthood.

In this role, you will oversee a small team of 4-5 Youth Support Workers and Volunteers, responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing a variety of curriculum-based group projects. Additionally, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with vulnerable and at-risk youth aged 11 to 17, aiming to enhance their future opportunities.

Your responsibilities will also include managing safeguarding concerns and health and safety protocols, while addressing the unique needs of service users and assisting them in overcoming specific challenges.

Qualifications: We seek candidates with prior experience in youth work, whether in a paid or voluntary capacity, who are prepared to advance their careers.

Proficiency in IT, record-keeping, organizational skills, and planning is essential for this position, along with the ability to build relationships with various partner organizations.
