Social Media Lead

Platned is a rapidly expanding Service and Support company with a global presence, headquartered in the UK. We are business transformation experts who specialise in serving clients utilising the world-class IFS product suite. Our comprehensive solutions and IT consultancy help clients maximise their investment and achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of Platned's social media, including campaigns, video, events, and content creation.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create and implement a robust social media strategy that aligns with overall business goals and brand identity.
  • Oversee the development of engaging, high-quality content tailored to each social media platform.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with marketing objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Track and analyse performance metrics across all social media channels, providing regular reports to stakeholders and making data-driven decisions to optimise strategies.
  • Foster and manage interactions with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as Platned's voice on social media, ensuring all content and interactions reflect our values and tone.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and leverage them to enhance our strategy.
  • Create copy for both social media and our website.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a social media management or lead role, preferably in the software sector.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative social media campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
