Senior Accommodation Team Manager

This is a full-time, permanent position based on a 40-hour workweek, primarily Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 8am and 6pm. Occasional shift coverage may be required, but this is rare.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and inspire your team, ensuring the service is safe, caring, effective, and well-led, while complying with the Supported Accommodation Regulations.
  • Report to the Operational Manager and Directors, with the expectation of completing successful registration with Ofsted to become the Registered Service Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including social workers, qualified teachers, registered nurses, and a dedicated recruitment team.
  • Provide additional support to clients facing crises and stresses.
  • Manage, support, and motivate the Supported Accommodation team, conducting supervision and appraisals, and ensuring staff development opportunities.
  • Recruit and manage staff within service lines.
  • Have a robust understanding of the implementation of the Supported Accommodation Regulations and experience working with OFSTED.

**Requirements:**

  • Significant working and management experience in children's residential social care.
  • Social Sciences Diploma or at least 1 year's experience at management level.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (driving to various projects across counties will be required).
  • Ability to represent the organization to external bodies and members of the community.
  • Willingness to complete direct work and shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays, when necessary.
