About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our service users, particularly a 5-year-old girl who requires support with her complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to our service user, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and clinical care.
  • Engage in play and promote learning and development, ensuring our service user has the right tools to thrive and grow.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure all care needs are met, and our service user receives the highest standard of care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.

Requirements

  • 3 months' previous care experience, preferably in a pediatric setting.
  • Experience with medication administration, personal care, moving and handling, and clinical care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
