About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Hub Team Lead to join our team in central Liverpool. As a key member of our Shared Service Centre, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality services while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement research and data projects to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all data improvement and research activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement through effective monitoring and root cause analysis of errors and omissions.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and ensure the team adheres to policies and regulations.
  • Handle internal queries and build relationships with colleagues and teams across BDO UK.
  • Lead training and development of the team to ensure we are 'Helping all succeed.'
  • Support the collection and analysis of data from multiple sources to inform business decisions.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, offering training and growth opportunities.
  • Be flexible and responsive to changing circumstances and priorities.
Requirements and Skills
  • Some people and team management experience.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to get involved in ad hoc activities with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to use your initiative and take a flexible approach.
  • Familiarity with business applications such as CMS, Workday, MDM, Templafy.
