Natural Capital Hub Lead Analyst

Liverpool John Moores University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced lead analyst to join its Natural Capital Hub. The Hub is a research and knowledge exchange centre working to deliver solutions for embedding natural capital approaches. Our team is dedicated to applying spatial solutions to inform decision making and evaluation of the impacts of nature recovery interventions.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with both technical expertise in spatial analysis and/or web application development, and the ability to lead a programme of activities within the Hub. You should also have a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject. As a lead analyst, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement spatial solutions for our partners, including government departments and agencies, local government, landowners, and conservation organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of spatial solutions for our partners
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement web applications for data analysis and visualisation
  • Collaborate with our partners to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Contribute to the development of the Hub's research agenda and programme of work
