Job Title: Registered Homecare Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Homecare Manager to lead our team of carers in providing high-quality care to young people in a residential setting.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of carers, overseeing the care of children in our residential home, and ensuring that all necessary policies and procedures are in place to provide a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of carers to provide high-quality care to children in our residential home.
  2. Oversee the care of children, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.
  3. Develop and implement methods to establish the needs of children as part of the individual Local Authorities care planning arrangements.
  4. Manage physical resources to meet all appropriate legislative and regulatory requirements.
  5. Manage, monitor, and control activities against delegated budgets.
  6. Establish and maintain monitoring systems within the Home and participate in monitoring and evaluation processes.

Requirements:

  • Two years Child Care experience in the last 5 years to include one year in a managerial capacity.
  • A Diploma in Social Work or NVQ Level 3 in children and young people.
  • A Level 5 in Leadership and Management or be willing to work toward this.
  • Management and Supervision Experience.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
