Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proficient Forklift Driver to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary position to a permanent placement within a respected organization.

Job Title:
Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative

Employment Type:
Temporary with the possibility of permanent employment

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Compensation:
£12.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate forklifts and related machinery safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
2. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, perform minor maintenance tasks, and ensure machinery is functioning optimally.
3. Follow strict safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment and prevent accidents.
4. Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring attention to detail.
5. Wrap pallets and utilize scanning devices as required.
6. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space.

Qualifications:
- Valid Counterbalance Certificate and proven experience in forklift operation within a warehouse setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy materials as necessary.
