Position Overview

The Senior Engineering Project Coordinator (internally referred to as Central Engineering Projects Coordinator) plays a pivotal role in our organization. This position is designed to ensure that our facilities, machinery, and services meet the rigorous standards required for food production.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Central Engineering Team, you will:

  • Contribute to achieving the company's strategic objectives by maintaining high standards for plant and equipment.
  • Engage fully in ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with health and safety regulations, and adherence to technical standards.
  • Oversee the execution of capital projects in a food manufacturing context, guiding them from initial concept through to final handover.
  • Manage and supervise the implementation of projects, collaborating with site teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Utilize a structured project framework that encompasses inception, planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Focus on building and civil engineering works, managing a range of new constructions and expansions across various sites.
  • Work closely with the legal team to ensure that all contracts and warranties are appropriate and effective.
  • Enforce company policies related to health, safety, and environmental standards across all engineering operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations regarding the testing of new equipment related to capital expenditures.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to safe working practices and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with factory management to ensure clear communication regarding contractor activities.
  • Identify and address any hazards or unsafe practices immediately.
