Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Microsoft SQL Server databases. You will work closely with our Business Intelligence, Application Support, and Development teams to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain database performance, security, and backup procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell and Terraform
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft SQL Server technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Database Administration, preferably in a Project or Operations environment
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server 2008+
  • Strong understanding of Performance Tuning, Query plans, HA & DR Solutions, and Partitioning
  • Experience with T-SQL, SQL Server Upgrades, and cloud migrations
  • Good knowledge of Scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, Terraform
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS, Power BI

Desirable Skills

  • PCI – DSS Compliance knowledge
  • NoSQL – Mongo
  • Understanding of Solarwinds, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Service Now
