Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team at Hewett Recruitment. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front of House: You will be the first point of contact for visitors, welcoming and assisting them as needed.
  • Meeting Room Management: You will be responsible for managing internal meeting room bookings, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Communication: You will answer the main phone line, relay calls and messages, and maintain excellent communication skills.
  • Compliance: You will ensure legal and contractual compliance, including client contracts, QMS certification, and GDPR requirements.
  • IT Management: You will manage external IT suppliers, ensuring IT systems are robust, with backup and maintenance procedures in place.
  • Project Management: You will project manage the implementation of Cyber Essentials and manage an asset register for all company property.
  • Facilities Management: You will oversee and be responsible for office facilities, including health and safety management and company insurance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience of running or managing an office is essential.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, experience of working with ISO 9001, and excellent MS Office skills are required.
  • Personal Qualities: A high attention to detail, strong decision-making and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are essential.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £30,000 per annum.
  • Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
