Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive support to the Compliance Quality Assurance function, ensuring the effective monitoring and reporting of compliance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough monitoring reviews to identify potential compliance risks and issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements, including the Consumer Credit Act and FCA Handbook.
- Produce high-quality monitoring reports, highlighting areas of concern and recommending remedial action.
- Collaborate with business functions to drive a positive compliance culture, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in consumer credit.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the Consumer Credit Act and its application under FCA regulations.
- Experience in a lending environment, with knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization.
- Proven track record of conducting internal monitoring and producing comprehensive reports.
- Ability to communicate complex compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders.
