An exciting opportunity has arisen for a volunteer to join the Firearms and Explosive Licensing unit at Sussex Police HQ, Lewes, and support the team with administrative tasks.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
As a volunteer, you will be part of a policing family making a real difference in the community. The Firearms and Explosive Licensing unit is a busy team, and we welcome an admin volunteer to support them. You will gain experience of how the department runs and contribute to the team's success.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Generating letters and documents
- Updating spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting with finance operations in the department
- Performing post duties and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Checking stationery stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Skills & Experience
We are looking for individuals with general administration skills, proficiency in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and experience of managing finance. If you have these skills, we would love to hear from you
