The British Academy, the foremost institution for the humanities and social sciences in the UK, is on the lookout for a Senior Global Policy Consultant to become a vital member of the Global Strategy, Policy & Engagement Team within the Policy Directorate. This role is crucial in advancing the Academy's strategic objectives.

Role Overview:
The Senior Global Policy Consultant will report directly to a Deputy Head of International and will play a pivotal role in driving the Academy's international initiatives and policy recommendations.

In collaboration with colleagues, Academy Fellows, and supported researchers, you will spearhead various aspects of the Academy's dynamic international policy agenda.

Your expertise will be essential in guiding the Academy's international outreach and policy, particularly concerning Just Transitions and Net Zero, while also engaging with the Academy's diverse international policy programs and themes, holding significant responsibility for representing the Academy in external contexts.

This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with international policy, operating at the intersection of research, policy, and practice with global stakeholders.
