Senior Building Surveyor Opportunity

Carrington West's Property & Building Control division is expanding, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on building surveying services, including design, development, planning, coordination, supervision, and project management. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare specifications and contract documents for building projects
  • Assess tenders and provide recommendations to clients
  • Act as Project Manager on building projects, attending site meetings and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Supervise works on site and authorise payments to contractors
  • Familiarity with computerised administrative and building control management systems
  • Full knowledge of traditional and modern construction techniques
