About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to take on a leadership role within our Physiotherapy department at Spire Fylde Coast Hospital in Blackpool. As a Physiotherapy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated professionals in delivering high-quality patient care and service improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the physiotherapy department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and service improvement.
  • Develop and support your team through mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage departmental resources, including budgeting, staffing, and equipment, to maintain efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals to implement innovative patient care solutions.
  • Oversee compliance with clinical governance and quality standards, ensuring best practices in physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Valid HCPC registration without restrictions.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Senior Physiotherapist, with a proven track record in a supervisory or management role.
  • Essential experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy, including managing post-operative patients.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Desirable: Experience in MSK physiotherapy.
