Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: You will contribute to assessments and interventions, including undertaking direct observations, completing specialist risk assessments, and care planning.
  • Health and Wellbeing: You will support clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing, promoting independence and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Clinical and Therapeutic Activities: You will undertake specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities, working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Care Planning and Implementation: You will assist Registered Professionals in the implementation and evaluation of individualized care plans, ensuring that each client's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Record Keeping and Supervision: You will accurately record patient information and provide support and supervision to other colleagues and learners as appropriate.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Initiative and Teamwork: You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Previous Experience: You will have previous experience of working with adults or children with learning disabilities, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that this presents.
