Position: Principal Clinician - Cancer Diagnostics and Research

At One HealthTech, our goal is to enhance the delivery of genomic healthcare and advance genomic research.

As the Principal Clinician - Cancer Diagnostics and Research, you will serve as a key subject matter expert within essential workstreams and influence the broader ecosystem at both national and international levels to maximize our impact on participants and patient outcomes.

The primary objective of this role is to collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), and the wider cancer team to develop, engage, and implement our cancer strategy across healthcare and research sectors.

You will:

  • Support the CMO, CSO, Director of External Affairs, and Director of Ethics in interactions with various advisory committees and the Participants Panel.
  • Provide clinical assistance to the service management team, including managing complex discussions with research participants and addressing inquiries, complaints, and clinical incidents.
  • Contribute clinical insights for clinical safety and risk management systems.
  • Assist the CMO and GMS Service Owner in fostering collaborations between One HealthTech and NHS colleagues.
  • Offer clinical leadership in the evolution of research strategy and coordination, and develop processes to support research stakeholders.
