Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionic/Electrical Workshop Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Workshop Team Leader in maintaining the overall performance of the Avionic Workshop, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall performance of the Avionic Workshop, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist the Workshop Team Leader in promoting a "Just Culture" with regard to safety and reporting of occurrences within the business.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as Design, Quality, Engineering Control, Logistics, and Aircraft Maintenance, to achieve project delivery.
  • Certify electro/mechanical components within the scope of authorisations held under Part 145/ISO.
  • Certify Part 21 manufacturing within the scope of authorisations held.
  • Support the Engineering Control department with the development of route master documents for component rework.
  • Highlight any tooling requirements to the Team Leader and assist with preparation of a business case to facilitate procurement.
  • Ensure that all test and ground support equipment is in a serviceable/calibrated condition.
