Senior Investment Manager

Aspire Data Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Investment Manager to join our client's Investment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end portfolio investment process, including modelling, structuring, and closing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage portfolio acquisitions, working closely with senior and junior Investment Analysts to review models and prepare investment papers.
  • Develop business cases to support debt purchasing decisions through the application of forecasting models.
  • Present business cases to the Investment Committee.
  • Manage day-to-day portfolio transaction processes, including liaising with external clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-site due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
  • Review and analyze actual performance vs. forecast post-acquisition.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects such as transaction structuring and investment strategy papers.
  • Lead and manage senior & junior Investment Analysts.
Requirements
  • Experienced financial services professional with excellent Excel skills and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Ability to oversee multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Ability to prepare investment papers and respond to scrutiny.
  • Confidence and knowledge to handle calls with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong people management skills to enable effective team management, recruitment activity, and coaching/mentoring.
  • High-level analytical and numerical skills to handle complex financial information.
  • Developed understanding and knowledge of financial products.
  • Understanding of legal aspects, risk, and governance frameworks for transactions.
