We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our clients' manufactured range of bathroom products to plumbers merchants, builders merchants, and bathroom showrooms in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field sales role promoting our clients' manufactured range of bathroom products
- Predominantly an account development role
- Responsible for circa 300 accounts, with a focus on account development and growth
- Promoting newly released products, including baths, shower enclosures, and bathroom furniture
- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in the industry
- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Providing excellent customer service and support to our clients
Requirements:
- Field sales experience in the construction or building products industry
- Experience selling into plumbers merchants, builders merchants, or independent retailers
- Proven territory management skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively overcome objections in a selling situation
- Comfortable promoting middle to upper non-branded products
