Spire Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to join our Pre-Operative Assessment team. This full-time role is designed to provide exceptional administrative assistance to the pre-operative assessment lead, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients undergoing pre-operative evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively manage the scheduling and preparation of patient records to guarantee that all necessary documentation is available for pre-operative assessments. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure that urgent bookings are processed efficiently, maintaining the integrity of patient data. Ensure meticulous accuracy in maintaining medical records and all associated documentation as per established protocols. Oversee both electronic and physical filing systems to ensure easy access to patient information. Utilize tracking systems to manage the flow of medical records between departments. Ensure timely delivery of patient documentation to clinical areas for short-notice assessments. Handle patient information with the utmost confidentiality, adhering to data protection regulations and company policies. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and competencies relevant to the role. Assist in the collection of pre-operative assessment questionnaires, reaching out to patients to improve completion rates. Coordinate mini clinic appointments as directed by nursing staff. Gather and organize GP summaries for all pre-operative patients, ensuring they are filed appropriately. Prepare patient information packets for distribution during mini clinics. Conduct necessary filing and documentation tasks to support nursing staff. Perform additional duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the position. Communicate with patients on specific pathways, updating relevant clinical staff and arranging necessary appointments.

Proven experience in a similar administrative or customer service role. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Capability to foster effective working relationships across various levels. Commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Confident in telephone communications with diverse clientele. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Proficient in both numerical and written communication. Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to tasks. Competent in using MS Office and other relevant software. Capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure with strong organizational skills.
