Job Title: Deputy Manager - Pre Assessment

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join their Pre-Assessment unit. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a leading private hospital and take your career to the next level.

About the Role:
  • Assist the Pre-Assessment manager in the day-to-day running of the POA service
  • Split between hands-on clinic management and staff line management
  • Deliver nurse-led clinics, arrange rotas, hold team meetings, complete staff appraisals, and develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Support in assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
  • Assist in delivering care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration - with no restrictions on practice
  • Experience of working in teams with minimum supervision
  • Pre-assessment qualifications
  • Proven experience of working in pre-assessment as a lead or Senior Nurse
