We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Network Cabling Apprentice in Southampton.

This Level 3 Network Cable Installer apprenticeship programme will provide you with valuable first-hand experience, knowledge, skills, and qualification to kick-start your career in the dynamic and transformational field of telecoms engineering.

About the Role

As a Network Cabling Apprentice, you will have exposure and training in the following fields:

  • Attending customer sites across the UK to install and maintain IP-based telephone systems.
  • Training on various systems, including Luminate CloudPBX, Telcoswitch Cloud, NFON Cloud, as well as IT/Networking, routers, and switches.
  • Providing support on-site and remotely from the office when required.
  • Traveling across the UK, which requires a current UK driving license.
  • Training will be conducted mainly by shadowing a senior engineer on customer sites and occasionally from the office.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, a full UK driving license, good communication skills, and a solid understanding of IP Networking. Previous experience in IT, Networking, or Computers would be advantageous, though full training will be provided.

What We Offer
