Job Title: Telecoms Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Telecoms Engineer Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in the telecommunications industry and gain hands-on experience in installing and maintaining IP-based telephone systems.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team to install and maintain IP-based telephone systems, including Luminate Cloud PBX, Telcoswitch Cloud, NFON Cloud, and other IT/Networking systems. You will also have the chance to develop your skills in customer-facing communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending customer sites across the UK to install and maintain IP-based telephone systems
  • Training on various systems, including Luminate Cloud PBX, Telcoswitch Cloud, NFON Cloud, and other IT/Networking systems
  • Providing support on-site and remotely from the office when required
  • Demonstrating strong company values to customers while working face-to-face with them
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, explaining information patiently and with enthusiasm
  • Traveling across the UK, which requires a current UK driving license

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Good communication skills and a solid understanding of IP Networking
  • Ability to communicate clearly and patiently with customers
  • Previous experience in IT, Networking, or Computers would be advantageous, though full training will be provided

Benefits:

  • Starting Salary: £18,000 – £24,000 per annum, depending on experience
