Quality Controller (Nights)

Job Summary:

The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by auditing, monitoring, and evaluating quality systems and procedures. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently to maintain and promote technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Standards: Understand and apply business Quality Standards to ensure company, customer, and legislative requirements are met and maintained.
  2. Audit and Compliance: Audit compliance against Quality Management Systems, raising non-conformances and providing objective evidence for corrective action.
  3. Product Testing: Complete product testing and internal audits against specific schedules or requests, and assist in investigations of out-of-spec results and customer complaints.
  4. Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to factory teams, seeking guidance from the Department Manager/Operations Quality Manager as needed.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Work with production teams to improve technical control and support NPD trials and product launches.
  6. Microsoft Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft programs is required.
  7. Analysis and Recommendations: Able to anticipate and consider the bigger picture in analysis and recommendations.
