Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at James Kirby Associates Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First Article Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of components to verify conformance to specifications and standards.
  • Dimensional and Visual Inspections: Perform dimensional and visual inspections to ensure that components meet the required specifications.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Utilize testing equipment and methods to assess product functionality and performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Record inspection results and document non-conformances, working with production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Measurement Tools: Proficiency in using measurement tools, such as callipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • CMM Machines: Proficiency in using CMM machines, with physical and visual inspection skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Engineering Drawings: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
