We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team at SEI Oxford as a Center Director. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of sustainable development, climate change, and transdisciplinary research methods.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy and Implementation: Develop and deliver SEI's global strategy at the local level, including setting the research agenda, managing operations, ensuring financial sustainability, and producing annual work plans and results reports for SEI HQ.
- Leadership and Support: Lead and support our team, fostering engagement and helping staff to reach their full potential.
- Relationship Building and Representation: Build and maintain relationships with partners, clients, and funders. Represent SEI Oxford at seminars and conferences, promote and strengthen our network, and engage with policy and decision-makers.
- A Master's degree (or higher) in a field relevant to SEI.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, strategy, and people management.
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience in driving strategy development and implementation.
- A hybrid work environment with staff required to be on-site at least two days a week.
- 33 days of holiday entitlement, including bank holidays.
- Pension contributions (with The People's Pension): 5% from you and 8% from SEI, with a voluntary top-up scheme allowing contributions up to 10% (matched up to 13% by SEI).
