Position Overview
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Clinical Perfusionist to join the Clinical Perfusion Department at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
The ideal candidate will possess full UK registration with the College of Clinical Perfusion and have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience or equivalent exposure in the field.
Flexibility regarding the start and end dates of this fixed-term contract may be available. Interested candidates are encouraged to reach out for further discussion.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and oversee the temporary replacement of a patient's cardiopulmonary function during cardiac surgery and other medical interventions.
- Operate auxiliary equipment to ensure patient safety and enhance clinical outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and management of the Clinical Perfusion Department, demonstrating high levels of clinical skill and knowledge.
- Participate in the on-call and late duty schedules as required.
