The Role

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager fluent in German to oversee the DACH and Benelux regions for a maternity cover period.
Proficiency in the German language is essential for this position.

As a Regional Field Marketing Lead, you will devise and implement strategies aimed at driving demand generation and pipeline expansion in this area. You will be accountable for creating and executing impactful regional marketing initiatives that facilitate the acceleration of accounts through our sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution and enhancement of the marketing mix to achieve key performance indicators and targets, including MQLs and SAOs.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to formulate quarterly marketing strategies grounded in a thorough understanding of customer requirements, market dynamics, and competitive trends.
  • Oversee a comprehensive marketing program across diverse channels, including trade exhibitions, events, webinars, partner initiatives, and digital campaigns to generate leads and secure business.
  • Implement a focused Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy for your region to strengthen sales relationships and support the advancement of strategic deals.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to track pipeline creation and progression, inform marketing strategies, and report on program ROI.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal sales teams, external partners, and distributors.
  • Work closely with regional sales leaders to develop quarterly marketing plans based on a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, content marketing, PR, and other teams to create effective marketing materials and messaging for regional campaigns.
  • Actively participate as a collaborative member of the Global Marketing team to ensure the consistency of strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as a Marketing Business Partner to regional leadership teams to plan, execute, and monitor pipeline creation and contributions, optimizing integrated activities across all channels to maximize ROI.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in the B2B technology sector, particularly in cloud, big data, analytics, or database environments.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing programs, including field events, webinars, partner initiatives, and digital campaigns.
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of the European enterprise B2B software market.
  • Knowledge and experience in modern demand generation and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, and developer marketing is advantageous.
