Role Overview
In this position, you will be part of an associate-led team, taking charge of your own projects while also overseeing intermediate and junior engineers. This role combines technical expertise with managerial responsibilities, making it essential for candidates to possess strong skills in designing with steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.

Qualifications Required
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • BA or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with SCIA and Tekla Building Designer is desirable
  • Experience with a range of projects, from small to large-scale structures
  • Proficiency in designing structures using concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
  • Adept at identifying and resolving engineering challenges
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across project groups
  • Experience in conducting structural surveys and producing comprehensive reports
  • Capability to manage project finances and oversee small to medium-sized projects
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and design team members
  • Expertise in executing and coordinating projects with high-quality technical design
